Report: JJ Redick interested in joining the Rockets

According to LA Times beat reporter Brad Turner, shooting guard JJ Redick is interested in joining the Houston Rockets “if the finances can work”.

Redick, a former teammate of new Rockets point guard Chris Paul, boasts career averages of 11.9 points and a .415 career three-point percentage. The Rockets are currently operating over the cap and would likely need Redick to accept a pay cut in order for him to join the team, potentially for their mid-level exception.

I think I understand the NBA. I definitely don't understand the Rockets.
